When to Book Botox, Filler, Peels, & More
The holiday calendar fills up quickly—and so does your aesthetic calendar.
If you’re planning Botox, filler, a chemical peel, microneedling, or a facial before Thanksgiving, holiday parties, family photos, or New Year’s Eve, when you schedule your treatment matters just as much as what you schedule.
Some treatments need weeks to develop. Others may involve peeling, redness, swelling, or bruising that you don’t want appearing in your holiday photos.
Here’s your OGÈ holiday treatment countdown.
That is why we think of fall as a reset—not a quick fix.
6–8+ Weeks Before: Think Skin Transformation
If you want to improve texture, acne scars, pigmentation, fine lines, or overall skin quality, start early.
This is the ideal window to begin treatments such as:
Microneedling: Collagen production takes time, and the best improvements typically develop gradually. A series may be recommended depending on your goals.
Chemical Peels: Peels can help improve uneven tone, pigmentation, congestion, and overall radiance. Starting early also gives us time to safely plan additional treatments if needed.
PRP Hair Restoration: Hair restoration is a long-term investment rather than a last-minute holiday treatment. The sooner you begin, the better.
3–4 Weeks Before: Botox & Facial Balancing
Want to look refreshed without looking noticeably “different”?
Give your injectable treatments some breathing room.
Neuromodulators such as Botox, Dysport, or Daxxify need time to settle and reach their full effect.
For HA filler, PRP gel filler, or Sculptra, timing depends on your treatment plan. Swelling and bruising are possible with injectable treatments, so we don’t recommend waiting until the day before an important event.
Our approach at OGÈ is facial balancing—not simply filling lines. We evaluate your face as a whole and recommend treatment based on your anatomy and goals.
1–2 Weeks Before: Polish & Hydrate
Now we’re getting close.
At this stage, the focus shifts from major correction to hydration, radiance, and refinement.
A customized OGÈ HydroDiamond facial can help exfoliate, hydrate, and refresh your complexion before your event.
This is also the time to stay consistent with your recommended skincare routine rather than experimenting with aggressive new products.
The Week of Your Event: Don’t Experiment
Your big event is days away.
This is not the time for an aggressive peel, your first injectable treatment, or a brand-new active skincare product.
Instead, focus on hydration, gentle skincare, SPF, sleep, and treatments your skin already tolerates well.
Don’t Wait Until December to Make Your Holiday Plan
One of the biggest misconceptions in aesthetics is that everything can be done at the last minute.
The most natural-looking results are often the result of good planning rather than more treatment.
Whether your goal is glowing skin, softer lines, improved pigmentation, subtle facial balancing—or simply looking like a well-rested version of yourself—we can help you determine what to do and, equally importantly, when to do it.
Schedule your holiday consultation at OGÈ Aesthetics & Wellness and we’ll create a treatment timeline around your events.
The goal isn’t to look “done” for the holidays. It’s to look like you—refreshed.
